Obituary: SALISBURY, Margaret (nee Burness) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Thursday, March 17, 2005 at Leisureworld Care Centre, Elmira. Margaret (Burness) Salisbury in her 88th year, formerly of the Niagara Falls Area and Chatham area. Cherished mother of Janet and Ross Brubacher of Elmira, Joan and Allan Billyard of Fonthill. Loving grandmother of Scott (Giselle) MacKenzie, Jodie MacKenzie (Shawn), Alyson (Brett) Atamanyk, Tara Billyard (Tom). Dear sister of Bill Burness of Chatham and his family. Predeceased by her husband Ted Salisbury (1998), her parents Harry and Lily Burness, one son Lorne (1943) in infancy, and sister-in-law Jean Burness. There will be no funeral home visitation, cremation has taken place. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at the Dreisinger Funeral Chapel, Elmira on Monday, March 21, 2005 at 1 p.m. with The Rev. Dr. Linda J. Bell officiating. Interment of cremated remains will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham at a later date. In her memory, donations to Help A Child Smile, Box 871, Welland L3B 5Y5 would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.3
