     Obituary: Richard P. Coffey, 48, of 307 Brooks St., died unexpectedly yesterday morning at St. Francis Hospital. A lifelong city residence, he formerly was employed by the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Co. The eldest son of Mrs. Andrew J. Coffey and the late Mr. Coffey, he is also suvived by his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Coffey; a daughter, Mrs. Scott MacEwen of Durham, N.C; one son, John A. Coffey, U.S. Navy; three sisters, Miss Mary Frances Coffey, Miss Isabelle Coffey and Mrs. Ernest Thayer, all of Charleston; and a brother, Andy Coffey, also of Charleston. The body is at Simpson mortuary where it will remain until service time. Requiem mass will be said at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Sacrad Heart Church, with Fr. Boniface Weckman the celebrant. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park.2
