     Obituary: Mrs. Rebecca Hudson, 85, widow of James Hudson, residing at 1816 South M Street, died at the Mercy Hospital at 4:15 o'clock this morning. She sustained a fractured hip in a fall recently. The injury aggravated her condition and she gradually grew weaker until the end came this morning. The daughter of George and Catherine Reynolds, she was born near Richmond May 8, 1849, and in 1867 she was united in marriage to James Hudson. He died seventeen years ago. Surviving is one sister, Mrs. John Lutz, of Lawrenceburg. The body was removed to the Clark Chapel. It will be taken to the family home Monday morning. Funeral service will be conducted at the residence Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Robert W. Sage, pastor of the First Baptist Church, in charge. Burial will be in the city cemetery beside her husband.2

She was united in marriage to Jacob Nuss September 17, 1887. To this union were born two children, Mrs. George Dole of near Harrison, O., and Chester, who with his wife, resides with his parents. She was one of a family of fourteen children of whom three, Mrs. James Hudson, Mrs. Frank McClure and Miss Ida Runnels are still living. A devoted husband, a daughter, a son, one granddaughter, three sisters and a host of relatives and friends mourn their loss.3

Runnels, daughter of George and Catherine Runnels, was born near Logan, Indiana, February 22, 1857, and died at her home at Logan December 16, 1925, aged 68 years, 9 months, 24 days. She was united in marriage to Frank McClure June 30, 1880, to whom were born nine children. One boy, Clem, having died in infancy and Mrs. Grace Williamson a number of years ago. She leaves to mourn their loss a husband, three sons and four daughters, namely Mrs. Emma Burdinot of Reading, Ohio, Mrs. Alma Myers, also of Reading, Dora, of Remington, Ind., George, of Harrison, Ohio, Mrs. Myrtle Seamon of Sommerville, Ohio, Charles, of Logan, Ind., Mrs, Leonora White, also of Logan, twelve grandchildren, two sisters and a host of friends. She united with the Presbyterian church at Bright under the ministry of Rev. Lowdwick and has since lived a true christian life ever since, ready at all times to assist friends, neighbours and those in need when necessary. The end came peacefully after 16 days of intense suffering, during which time every thing was done that could be suggested by loving hearts and willing hands to make her comfortable. Mature and loving hands had done all they could to keep her but at last her life boat drifted out upon the shoreless sea of eternity to meet her loved ones who had gone before.3

     Obituary: Last Member Logan Pioneer Family Passes: Mrs. Ida Runnels Lutz Buried at Bright February 9: Ida Jane Runnels (Lutz) daughter of George and Catherine Runnels, was born in Logan township, Dearborn county, August 12, 1862 and passed away after a few hours illness on February 6, 1937 at the home where she was born and had spent her entire life, at the age of 74 years, 5 months and 24 days. She was a member of a pioneer family of thirteen children, all of whom have preceded her in death. Her grandfather, Casper Johnson, migrated from Pennsylvania in the year 1818. Her mother, Catherine Johnson, was born in the year 1819 and lived her entire life on the same farm on which the deceased lived. Her father, George Runnels, was a native of Delaware. Aunt Ida, as she was familiarily called by relatives and friends, had a hospitable and pleasing disposition and visitors and friends were always welcome in her home. She was very much devoted to her home and relatives coming the day she was stricken found she had been busily working at her sewing table. She united with the M. E. church at Logan, 1898 during the pastorate of the Rev. Wilbur Watkins. She was married on Nov. 21, 1936, to John Lutz, who survives her. The funeral services were held at Logan M. E. church on Tuesday morning, February 9th, the Rev. W. G. Strong, officiating. Burial was in Gibson cemetery, Bright. Pallbearers were Rollie S. Swales, John Krumen, Wilson Clark, John Steele, Ora Swales and Will Beck.2

     Frank McClure was enumerated in the census on 16 April 1930 in Logan Township, Dearborn County, Indiana, USA, as a grocery storekeeper and widower age 72 with Lena White and Mildred White in his household.11
     Obituary: Frank McClure Dies - Frank McClure, son of David and Hannah McClure, was born at Freedom, Ill., May 11, 1857, and died at his home in Logan, Ind., December 11, 1931, age 74 years and 7 months. He was married to Anna B. Runnels June 30, 1880, who preceeded him to the Great Beyond December 16, 1925. To this union were born nine children, one dying in infancy. A daughter, Mrs. Grace Williamson, died in 1905. Those left to mourn their loss are: Mrs. Emma Beaudinot, Reading, O; Mrs. Alma Myers, Reading, O; Dora McClure, Remington, Ind; George McClure, Harrison, O; Mrs. Myrtle Seamon, West Middleton, O; Charles E. McClure, Hamilton, O; Mrs, Lenora White, Logan, Ind; also twelve grandchildren and a host of friends and neighbours. Mr. McClure united with the Presbyterian church at Brecon, O., when 12 years of age.4
