     Obituary: Late Mrs. Burness - The death occurred Tuesday morning at the family residence, 103 Elgin Street, St. Thomas, of Mrs. Elizabeth Emily Burness after an illness of about two years. The late Mrs. Burness, who was well known here, moving to St. Thomas with her husband and family in October 1919, her husband Alex. R. Burness, being connected with the Heintzman Company. Mr. Burness is now with the Mason & Risch Company in St. Thomas. Mrs. Burness was a consistent member of St. John's Anglican Church, London, before coming to St. Thomas, and had been attending Trinity Anglican Church in St. Thomas. She was a zealous worker in the Woman's Missionary Society, the Guild and other organizations in connection with Trinity Church. Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her death two daughters and one son - Miss Edith Marion at home, and Miss Florence Margaret and G. E. Burness, of Toronto; also two sisters and two brothers. The funeral will be held privately Friday morning from the family residence to the London & Port Stanley Railway station, where the remains will be conveyed to London on the 11:43 o'clock train and thence via Grand Trunk Railway to Stratford, where interment will take place.5
