     Obituary: Jennettie Ann Meadors, age 87, formerly of Connersville, passed away on October 8, 2012 at Whispering Ridge AFC in West Olive, MI. She had made her home in Michigan for the past 15 years. Jennettie was born the third of eight children of Harry and Allah Garwood Morgan on July 31, 1925 in Orange Township, Fayette County, IN. She graduated from Orange High School in 1943 and after graduation, moved to Connersville to work at the D & M plant during World War II. Her job was to count out rivets to match material orders, making sure that extra rivets were not available to cause engine failures in aircraft. While working at D & M, she met William Kern Meadors and they were married on August 19th, 1944. Mr. Meadors passed away in July of 1997. While living in Connersville, she was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She was very active in her children's activities and was a 4-H Leader. She is survived by her two children, Dr. Gary Meadors and his wife Gloria of Ft. Meyers, FL and Cheryl Meadors and her husband Michael VandeZande of Bridgman, MI; two brothers, William (Dot) Morgan and Joe (Marilyn) Morgan all of Connersville; and a granddaughter, Lilee Meadors VandeZande. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Marion Wayne Morgan, Donald George Morgan and Harry Morgan, Jr; and two sisters, Catherine Lykins and Mildred Morgan.^7,1

     Ross Lykins was born on 5 April 1916 in Kentucky, USA.^1,2 He married Catherine Carrie Morgan, daughter of Harry A. Morgan and Allah V. Garwood, on 25 June 1938 in Rush County, Indiana, USA.¹ He died on 20 March 1972 in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, at age 55.^2,3
