He passed away November 8, 1925 at 2:00 a.m. after a long illness caused from cancer of the face. After growing to manhood he moved to Kansas, served three years in the Civil War. After the war he was united in marriage to Mrs. Mary Ann Boles. To this union were born four (4) children - namely Mary Ellen Yeager, Charley Yeager, Sherman Yeager and George Alfred Yeager. He leaves to mourn his death. one sister Mrs. Susan Duncan of Atlanta, Kansas and two sons, Charley Yeager of Ura Keeney, Kansas, and George A. Yeager of Rosepine, Louisiana with whom he had made his home in the past few years. He left 20 grandchildren and 11 great grand children of whom he was devoted. He also had 6 stepchildren, (3) who survive him. Mrs. Jim Boles, of Ellsworth, Kansas, Mrs. M.E. Kurts of Colorado, and Mrs. William Boles of Canada.
