Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, Normal. Mrs. Clem was born March 13, 1908, at Beloit, Wis., a daughter of J. Jay and Etta G. Gilman Voorhees. She married Merle P. Clem on March 5, 1933, at Normal. He died April 5, 1993. Survivors include a nephew and many dear friends. Two sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Clem was a member of First United Methodist Church, Normal. She had worked as an accountant at Illinois State University, Normal, for 37 years, retiring in 1966.1
