The deceased was a member of the Christian church and of Northern Star lodge, Pythian Sisters, of Moline. The husband and two daughters, Alverdia and Gladys, as well as the father, H. P. Hawkins, all of Buffalo, survive. Mrs. Lee King of Rainmore, Mo., Mrs. Denny Thomas of Kansas City, Miss Bernita Hawkins of Kansas City, and Miss Edna Hawkins of Greenwood, Mo., and one brother, Ernest Hawkins of Davenport, also survive. The funeral will be held from the home Tuesday afternoon, with services at the Christian Union Church at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made at Rosehill cemetery.2
