     Obituary: Arthur Marion Karr was born October 26, 1922 in Tama, Iowa the son of Paul and Eva (Eldridge) Karr. Arthur died Sunday, June 28, 2009 at Cedar Crest Care Center in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He was 86 years of age. Arthur was a 1940 graduate of East Central High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He married the former Miss Eloise Phillips on December 20, 1946 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They moved to Broken Arrow from Tulsa in 1961. Arthur was a plumber and a member of the Plumbers Union. He enjoyed woodworking, camping and fishing. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by: Wife, Eloise Karr, Broken Arrow, OK; Daughter, Vivian and husband Skip Darling, Broken Arrow, OK; Son, Eddie Karr, Broken Arrow, OK; Grandchildren, Josh, Tammy, Heather, Amy, Lisa; Great Grandchildren, Sherry, Jacqueline, Edward Anthony, Cameron Carson, Garrett, Andy, Lindsey, Katlyn, Bradon; Brother, Gilbert Karr, Mission, TX. He was preceded in death by brother, Kenneth and sister, Betty. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 3, 2009 at Okmulgee Cemetery.⁶
